Registration time for the 2007 Fall GKYSA season!

**GKYSA Registration has been extended to July 30th to register without a late fee!**

The season starts the first Saturday after Labor Day and runs for 8 weeks.

**PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE.**
WE HAVE SWITCHED TO A GRADE BASED PROGRAM:
Players will be placed on a team at the appropriate grade level based on the 2007/2008 school year, and will be grouped into the following grade levels:

Kindergarten
1st and 2nd grade
3rd and 4th grade
5th and 6th grade
7th and 8th grade
High School

Fees:
RECEIVED before 7-15-2007: $60.00 per child
RECEIVED AFTER 7-15-2007: Additional $35.00 Late Fee per child

Waiver and scholarship information available, contact GKYSA in writing.

Children registering after 7-15-07 will be on a waiting list and placed on a team if possible.

The Greater Kalispell Youth Soccer Association’s ‘rec’ season is in the fall.

The season starts the first Sat. after Labor Day and runs for 8 weeks.

The signups will begin around the beginning of June. Probably just after Three Blind Ref tournament and it runs until July 15th without a late fee.

For the rec season, we group the children by grades. We start at kindergarden and go through 12th grade.

Coaches Clinic in February!

Flathead Force / GKYSA is holding a coaches clinic in February. It is a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced Regional Diploma course. No prior license is needed.

It will take place at Evergreen Junior High School* on February 23 (6-9 p.m.), and Feb. 24 & 25 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.). The cost for is $90. The course will be conducted by George Hageage who is the women’s coach at Eastern Washington University.

Based in Mission, Kan., the NSCAA is the largest coaches’ organization in the United States. Since its founding in 1941, it has grown to include more than 18,000 members who coach both genders at all levels of the sport. YOUTH REFS WILL ALSO:

Youth Soccer is always in need of referees. All parents, middle school and older soccer players, former soccer players, and other family and friends are eligible to take the free training. Anyone who is interested in soccer and is willing to lend a hand is wanted! Please help our kids and volunteer coaches by becoming a certified referee.

There will be a free, two day training, Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22 and again December 2 and 3, from 9-4, at The Summit in Kalispell. There’s no need to pre-register, just show up! If you are interested in future clinic dates, call or email Dave Himsl at 752-7793, himslfam@mtdig.net.
