are driving in donations to Flathead Soccer Club
Kalispell, Mont., (Nov. 15, 2008) — M & C Tire and Uniroyal® Tire have raised donations of over $1100 in both funds and equipment for Flathead Soccer Club. This is thanks to the Uniroyal Soccer Program, a grassroots initiative that annually supports youth soccer all over the country.
The program has been a major supporter of youth soccer for the past nine years. Alongside its tire dealers, Uniroyal Tire has donated nearly $11 million in funds, including over 818,000 soccer balls, since 2000.
“We were excited to be a part of the soccer program,” said Cary Weyrauch of M & C Tire. “It’s been a great way to do our part for the community. It’s a wonderful feeling to support our youth, especially through an organization such as Flathead Soccer Club. I love seeing everyone who comes in, and the kids are ecstatic when they get the soccer ball!”
Soccer families can also enter Uniroyal Tire’s “Soccer To Go” sweepstakes at www.uniroyal.com/sweeps. The grand prize includes a “soccer taxi” makeover with a Gameboy® Advance dockable car entertainment system, an entertainment gift card, a free set of Uniroyal tires, and a gas card. In addition, the grand prize winner’s soccer league will receive $1,000 from Uniroyal Tire to put toward field equipment, scholarships and other expenses. A first prize winner will receive a free set of tires and a $500 donation to their soccer league for their 2009 season.
