Testimonials:

“My girls have trained with the Flathead Soccer Academy this last year and their ball handling skills have improved tremendously. The coaches not only teach the players foot skills, but also how, why, when, and where to apply each skill in game situations. The Flathead Soccer Academy has a fun atmosphere, where the coaches make it easy and fun for them to learn but also challenge the players to master the skills to be able to apply them to the game." Jeff Thompson, Parent of two Academy players

“Academy training is not a new concept in the world of soccer however it is rather new in the state of Montana (3 yrs). There have been a number of clubs who have gotten on board (9) including Flathead Soccer Club (FSC). Having had the opportunity to work with FSC Academy this Spring I can say that Miles Glynn and his staff are doing a great job with their Academy program, doing what is best for the youth in the Flathead, not only for their development as soccer players in the short term but increasing their ability to compete at a higher level in the long run. By adding an Academy program in the fall this will only enhance player development even further.” Ric Plante, Director of Coaching, Montana Youth Soccer Association

"Having a fall program has been essential in developing a club that offers soccer to our community year round. With it, the technical work we have achieved during the spring seasons does not get wasted by having players sit for seven months without a ball at their feet. The growth we have seen from the combination of spring and fall soccer has enabled stronger players to come through our club, thus giving us the ability to create better teams in the future. Without a Fall Academy, we would be stuck in mediocrity, and I cannot stress its importance enough." Dan Ferguson, Technical Director, Bozeman Blitz

“For players and teams to be successful at the high school level, players need to have certain technical skills. These technical skills are an important part of the players’ overall development and must not be overlooked. Flathead Soccer Club’s Academy programs provide quality coaching that aims to develop well rounded players with a focus on individual technical development. As a High School coach, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to play at the varsity level to get involved with FSC’s Spring and Fall Soccer Academies. Doing so will help ALL high school programs in the Flathead Valley!" Chris Putzler, Varsity Boys Coach, FHS
