We hope the spring is going well and that your kids are working hard and having fun. As some of you may know, this is a big year for our club. We are celebrating the clubs 25th anniversary and are hosting the MYSA State Cup Tournament on June 8-10. We would like to say THANK YOU to all of our current and previous member, staff, coaches, refs, players, families, and community for caring and giving so much to the beautiful game we love.
It has been a very exciting and busy year. Forming Flathead Valley United and purchasing indoor turf were possible because our kids want to work hard, enjoy the game, and challenge themselves. We are committed to providing a safe and affordable place for kids to play and are currently exploring available options. Please contact us with any thoughts or opportunities we can consider.
The State Cup is scheduled for the weekend after our 3 Blind Refs Tournament (June2-3) and we would like to ask for your help in preparing for these events by inviting you to a bbq/help evening on May 24 from 5-8.While many kids will have practice, the rest of us can assemble new goals, put nets on, place new signs, paint lines, raise tents, remove dead bushes, prepare the RV camp area, prep 3-4 fields at GHS, along with many other things it takes to host over 2000 players and their families. After, we can enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers, chips, and drinks. Many hands make light work and we will get done as much as possible.
Please come join us for an evening of "hard work" and having fun!!
Thank you all!!!
